Yesterday we took our Year 5 and 6 children from Braeside, Coopersale Hall, Normanhurst and Oaklands (around 130 pupils) to perform at the annual Young Voices Concert at the O2 Arena.
Young Voices is a concert made up of children from schools across the country that come
together to form one of the largest school choirs in the world. It was an amazing experience with plenty of parents attending to watch the Oak-Tree children sing along with 7700 others to a variety of songs. Tommy Callaghan, from the X Factor and dance group Urban Strides also took to the stage!
Funds raised this year will be in aid of the Nordoff Robbins Charity, which uses the power of music to transform the lives of some of the UK’s most vulnerable and isolated children and adults. A huge well done to all of our amazing performers, and a massive thank you to all of the staff and parents who made the event possible!
