There was a real ‘buzz’ at the Oak-Tree Spelling Bee yesterday afternoon! It was held at Coopersale Hall and all four schools put forward one pupil from each year in the juniors. Each year group competed in a series of spelling challenges. In each round the children had to write down the word that had been read out as quickly and accurately as they could before hitting their buzzer!
All of the participants performed brilliantly but Normanhurst were the overall winners. Well done to Normanhurst and to everyone who took part!
