Geography Teacher
£33,000-£46,500
We are looking to recruit an excellent Geography teacher, who is passionate about the learning of humanities, to teach small classes of pupils from Year 7 to Year 11 up to GCSE. The successful candidate will encourage high standards and should be able to teach and coordinate Geography in a small department that is popular within the school.
This is a position that could be 4 days (0.8) or 5 days (1) to start in September 2026. We are looking for somebody who:
- Has a clear vision for Geography within the school
- Has a broad knowledge of the subject
- Is able to motivate and inspire pupils, parents and staff
- Is willing to teach GCSE classes in Year 10 and Year 11
- Is looking to take an active and central part in the life of the school
- Is enthusiastic and can demonstrate a pupil-centred approach
- Will lead field trips and excursions to further develop the learning
