History Teacher/Coordinator
£33,208-£46,600 (pre annual rise)
We are looking to appoint an excellent teacher who is able to motivate and inspire, to teach and coordinate History in Key Stages 3 and 4. This is a subject that has enjoyed a high level of success over recent years and so the successful candidate will be able to encourage high standards within a small department.
This is a position over 3 days per week to start in September 2026. Our aim is to recruit an inspirational teacher who:
- is looking to lead the History curriculum throughout a small single form entry senior department as the sole History teacher
- is able to contribute to an expanding curriculum and learning environment
- is looking to embrace having full responsibility for implementing the subject
- can be flexible and adaptable to working with children with varying needs and abilities in small classes
- has relevant qualifications and the passion to develop the learning of History.
