We are looking to appoint an excellent Art and DT teacher who is able to motivate and inspire, to teach and coordinate Art and DT throughout the school up to Year 11 as GCSE subjects.
The successful candidate will encourage high standards and should be able to teach in a small department with a well-equipped Art/DT Studio and technician.
We are looking for somebody who:
- Has a clear vision for Art and DT within the school
- Has a broad knowledge of each subject
- Is able to motivate and inspire pupils, parents and staff
- Is willing to teach in both the Juniors and Seniors
- Is looking to take an active and central part in the life of the school
- Is enthusiastic and can demonstrate a pupil-centred approach
- Will lead subject-related trips to further develop the learning

This is a full time position to start in September 2025, remunerated on a salary scale according to relevant experience and qualifications.
